We also give thanks for elders who share ancient wisdom that teachs us how to work together as human beings. We are sharing these important words of the elders for all of our benefit. "

DRUM TO HEAL THE EARTH
"Anyone can pick up a drum, or other percussion instrument and begin to heal all areas of their lives. Drumming is not about performance or perfection, it is about healing and expression. When you allow yourself to let go, and move from your head into your body, you will experience the natural rhythm you were born with. Within that natural rhythm lies great power. The drum helps us to connect with that power which has the capacity to heal.

As we reconnect with the natural rhythms deep within our bodies, we are simultaneously feeding our souls, which have been starved for the healing energy invoked through the power of the drum. Current medical research actually proves the healing ability of drumming."
